GARDENING
SERVICES
FS&L
services are designed to be flexible and to suit you as an individual, both in
terms of matching your objectives and your budget.
This
flexibility can vary from an informal visit to your garden, with general
discussion and advice, to a comprehensive garden survey and preparation of
formal designs. No garden is too
small. Planting schemes can be as complex or as simple as you wish.

Survey and Draft Plans
This comprises of measuring and drawing up the garden.
A choice of draft plans will then be produced,
and these can be used as discussion tools for the future design of the
garden. (Artist’s Impression drawings will be included if necessary.) |
 |
Final Working Plans
Having agreed the overall design a Final Working Plan
will be drawn up. This will show the position of the flower borders, paths
and trees etc. |
 |
Construction Plan
This is a copy of the Final Working Plan with all the relevant
measurements needed to go ahead with construction. |
 |
Planting Plans
These plans are produced in colour, as a birds eye
view. They include a list of the plant names and their positions.
Elevation drawings can be undertaken at this stage to give an artistic
idea of what the borders will look like in a few years to come. Careful
consideration will be given to the choice of plants, taking into account
soil, light levels and maintenance requirements.
The plants can be sourced and bought on behalf of the
client. Every endeavour will be made to supply the plants named on the
planting plans, but occasionally alternatives may need to be used.
|
|
Planting
We are happy to assist in the planting, or if you
prefer to plant yourself, placing the plants in the correct positions for
you. Due to changing climate patterns it is advisable only to plant
borders in the autumn or spring.
|
 |
Plant Maintenance Schedule
A personalised Plant Maintenance Schedule can be
provided after the planting. It will comprise of colour photographs of all
the new plants, together with information on how to maintain each one.
